A SharpGrade first in the UK

The first New Zealand manufactured SharpGrade attachment has been delivered to a trailblazing customer in Wales and around this time last week we were in Llandyfan to see Wil Jenner of Beacon Arenas get hands on with his latest investment.

It was also a real delight to meet the designer and owner of the business that bares his name Rodney Sharp and his wife Angela who incredibly, had travelled all the way from New Zealand to see the first delivery of one of their products in the UK, in this instance a 2.2 DGR model. Rodney is also a “hands on” type of guy and was very much involved in the install of the unit, ably assisted by Wil himself and Peter Woolnough of newly appointed UK dealers, Buckinghamshire based, Reach It, Move It, Crush It. Rodney was also keen to offer expert advice of the correct use and set up of the attachment and the Leica guidance system. I will report in more detail on this in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine, but in the meantime check out our video of Wil getting to grips with his new attachment mounted on his JCB 1CXT.
