All roads lead to Stockholm

The next big plant and machinery show is looming on the horizon and its set to be another extra special event for me as I visit the Svenska Maskinmässan Exhibition in Solvalla, for the first time.

Having visited the MaskinExpo exhibition many times previously, I am excited at the prospect of attending this Maskinmässan show which now takes place on alternate years at the Solvalla race course venue in Stockholm. This year’s event takes place over 3 days opening on the 31^st May and runs until 2^nd June. As I understand it this venue is a lot more visitor friendly with a lot less walking to be done which will be good for me at least. The show is presented by MaskinLeverantörerna in conjunction with Maskinentreprenorerna and supported by their media partners, leading Swedish industry publications Maskin Entreprenoren and EntreprenadAktuellt.

As usual at a Swedish plant and machinery show, there will be plenty of inspiring and innovative bits of kit to be seen including tiltrotator’s and hydraulic attachments which our Swedish friends are so good at manufacturing and no doubt a good number of UK tiltrotator trailblazers will be attending again this time around.

Its shaping up to be a busy show for me as I have a couple of assignments to attend to over there, a catch up with a number of my good Swedish friends and a scheduled meet up with Canadian internet plant and machinery celebrity “Pushysix” is on the agenda, so its going to be an exciting time.
