Another Operator with Pride
Last week I had the pleasure of visiting long established Southampton based Blaze Construction on one of its sites in Ringwood, Hampshire. I was there to take a look at their new KATO IMER 8 tonner for Earthmovers Magazine, but I was also impressed to see this CASE excavator which is quite clearly well looked after.
We have a had quite a lot of defections from our Digger Man Blog Facebook group in recent months, which is fair enough, as people want to do their own thing and I fully support that. One fantastic group that has started up is called Operators with Pride, which has been created by former DMB members Scott and Chris Sturgeon. Its focused on the guys and girls who go the extra mile to take care of the machines they operate or own with a level of respect that is always good to see. On spotting this Blaze Construction CASE CX180C model, I instantly thought about the group whose catchy new hashtag line is #TIMETOKILLTIMETOSHINE and I thought they would be delighted to see this machine.
I wasn’t able to catch the operators name but I have to say the machine looked in fantastic condition for its age and is quite clearly a real credit to the man in the seat! Check out my video of man and machine working in perfect harmony.
