Bobcat’s big boy in a class of its own

During a recent trip to the Bobcat/Doosan facility in Dobris, Czech Republic I was able to spend some time in the seat of Bobcat’s largest compact tracked skid steer the T870.

Bobcat’s big boy in a class of its own
Bobcat is a name that is synonymous with the skid steer loader and the quality of the product is never to be underestimated. The all new T870 is a shining example of this. I don’t get to spend much time in these machines but they are capable of doing a massive amount of work, even more so when armed with a range of attachments. The latest version of the T870 features a torsion suspension undercarriage, a completely new undercarriage design to the Bobcat compact track loader range and offering me as the operator an extremely comfortable ride experience. The torsion suspension undercarriage features torsion axles that dampen vibration, combining the comfort of roller suspension and the stability of a solid mount undercarriage with other new features to provide a tracked loader that according to Bobcat outperforms all other machines on the market. The latest T870 torsion suspension machine offers a rated operating capacity of 1726 kg (well over 10% more than the previous roller suspension model).  To find out more about this cracking machine take a look at this promotional video from Bobcat.
