Caterpillar reveal the latest Next Generation excavator models.
Last week Caterpillar offered us an exclusive look around the latest Next Generation excavator models, the 333 GC, 330 and the 336 and the latest 730 articulated hauler during a visit to the company’s Demonstration and Learning Centre in Malaga, Spain.
I won’t go into too much detail here as I will be saving it for my report in the magazine in due course, but according to Caterpillar customers can expect an increase in operating efficiency, lower fuel and maintenance costs and vastly improved operator comfort compared to the previous 30-tonne size class machines.
The new cab is as we saw in the Next Generation 320 and 323 models that were first rolled out and its certainly a great place to spend your days. The latest models feature the impressive standard integrated Cat Connect technology and the intuitive multi-function touch screen monitor.
