Cat’s Next Generation roll out continues

Cat’s Next Generation roll out continues
In late October last year, I was in Malaga to witness the unveiling of Caterpillar’s Next Generation of excavators. These technologically advanced machines are game changers without a doubt and now in familiar style the larger models are being launched the latest being the 336 and 336 GC variants. According to Caterpillar the 336 brings premium performance with simple-to-use technologies like Cat GRADE with 2D, Grade Assist, and Payload — all standard from the factory to boost your operating efficiency up to 45 percent. The lower spec 336 GC is described as a reliable, low-cost-per-hour excavator that balances productivity with easy-to-use controls. Both models feature a new comfortable cab, increased fuel efficiency, and longer maintenance intervals to reduce maintenance costs by up to 15 percent.
I’m looking forward to seeing these “In the Iron” as our American colleagues like to say!
