Marvellous Mecalac in Kernow

Last week the Digger Man Blog was back down in St Austell in Cornwall to catch up with our old mate Mark Richards and his new Mecalac 9MWR wheeled excavator which is also fitted with a Rototilt R3 tiltrotator.

Mark has clearly become a convert to the midi wheeled excavator in recent years having formerly been a backhoe loader devotee. This new machine is a stunning example combining all the merits and flair of the French Mecalac machine, with the versatility and flexibility of the Swedish Rototilt brand.

I will be reporting on this machine and Mark's business in the next edition of Earthmovers Magazine, which will be one not to miss, but in the meantime checkout our video from the day where Mark is loading a truck with the Mecalac’s big skid style loading bucket.
