Tiltrotator’s from a North American perspective

Although a common feature on machines in Scandinavia for over 25 years, tiltrotators are still a fledgling attachment in North America, however as we have seen in other regions, across Europe especially, a number of high profile, forward thinking trailblazers are continuing to invest in these game changers in America and Canada and are already changing people’s perceptions of the attachments.

I came across this video recently from the American You Tube sensation “Dirt Monkey” aka Stanley Genadek, who has in excess of 214k subscribers who regularly tune in to see his latest plant and machinery related video reports. In this video he visits a local Volvo Construction Equipment facility to find out more about tiltrotators in this instance from the Steelwrist stable, who are Volvo’s chosen partner for tiltrotators. In the video Dirt Monkey discusses various elements of the tiltrotator concept with a Volvo CE product specialist and they talk about the benefits and perceived drawbacks in layman’s terms which I am sure you will find interesting.
