Volvo and Rototilt in a native setting

My Swedish friend and fellow member of the Maskinisten.net forum Alexander Lipkin aka BM1113 is always out and about in Northern Sweden catching machines on camera and I thought I would share this one with you all.

Volvo and Rototilt in a native setting
Many contractors in Sweden are engaged in ditch cleaning duties during the summer months. Many roads and tracks have large V style ditches running alongside them not only to catch rain water but also as somewhere to cast the snow into during the long winter months. Of course, Sweden is the spiritual home of the tiltrotator and the game changing attachments come into their own when performing work like this or when forming new ditches which looks to be the case in this instance. This set up is a classic Swedish combination featuring two iconic Scandinavian brands, with the 30-tonne class Volvo EC300EL being paired up with a Rototilt R8 tiltrotator, which until the recent introduction of the R9 model was the company’s largest tiltrotator unit. We would like to thank Alexander and Rille for sharing this video with us and I hope you enjoy it.
