Demolition Expo 2015

The UK’s most exciting demolition weekend returns to Reading for June 2015. It’s an industry event not to be missed.

The National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) and Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE) will shortly be holding their second Demolition Expo show at Reading Quarry, Berry Lane, Burghfield, with this year’s event expected to be bigger and better than the inaugural event held in 2013. Held over two days, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th of June, the event will showcase the best of the best in the demolition and recycling industries. With both static displays and working demonstration space available, many of the UK’s premier suppliers of plant and machinery have already signed up to exhibit at the show, which this year will be held at J Mould (Reading) premises. Large demonstration plots have been made available for manufacturers to show off their latest equipment and attachments with a large indoor area available for smaller trade stands. Friday will commence for NFDC and IDE members with a half-day business seminar with talks from key industry figures and the opportunity to gain CPD points. The outside area will be filled with a wide variety of working demonstrations and static displays of excavators, loading shovels, crushing and screening equipment along with the leading demolition attachment manufacturers. While the Friday will be about business, Saturday will be a fun-filled family day with children’s entertainers, bouncy castles and activities for all ages. Both days will feature the National Demolition Training Group undertaking various cutting and burning activities along with excavator operator competitions. For those who like a little bit of off road adventure, Volvo GB will again be supplying an articulated dump truck to take show goers around a specially designed course. Entry to the show is free and pre-registration for tickets can be made by contacting Louise Calam: louise@demolition-nfdc.com
