Cat that’s got the cream

I was recently out on an Earthmovers site visit to see Bartlett Contractors and was delighted to catch up with their Cat 324E on site in Dorset.

The machine and other Cats in the Bartlett fleet will hopefully feature in a future article in Earthmovers Magazine and I must say I found it to be a very impressive piece of kit!

It was while I was researching about these machines that I came across an excellent testimonial video on the Cat 324E which is owned by CB Constructions from Queensland on the Gold Coast of Australia. CB Constructions were first formed as Clark Brothers and gravel as far back as 1946 by brothers Bill and Peter Clark. The company is now in its 70^th year of trading and run a fleet dominated by Caterpillar machines. In this video clip the current owner John Clark talks about how the Cat 324E improves efficiency and reduces fuel consumption. We also get the views of the machines operator Owen Macdonald.
