I don’t think there can be many of us who have not got a soft spot for a Caterpillar track type tractor. For those that are fans of the Peoria yellow iron, you are going to love this video!

Caterpillar has come a long way since two the pioneering tractor entrepreneurs Daniel Best and Benjamin Holt joined forces to form the Caterpillar Tractor Co in 1908. There have been many milestones since those days and of course many more products have joined the range over the years, but it will always be the track type tractor that Cat will be famous for with the likes of iconic machines like the D6, D8, D9, D10 right up to today’s big daddy the mighty D11. This video collection gives a brief insight into some of those milestones over the 110 year history of the Cat track type tractor.
