Mechbadger – ‘One Machine Many Jobs’

Wandering the endless corridors of the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre during Intermat, there was always something weird and wonderful to discover, among the exhibits I came across were some quirky little machines from Mechbadger.

Designed and developed in Italy the Gomadhi Mechbadger MP01 is described as a multifunctional machine for service in a wide variety of sectors including construction, landscaping, agricultural and property maintenance.

With power options ranging from petrol, diesel and electric the tracked base carrier effectively works like a mobile platform for a number of attachments including mini dumper, mini excavator, mini loader and mini concrete mixer.

Mechbadger claim that each unit can be swapped over in around 5 minutes, which to me looks to be pushing it a little, considering the number of quick couplings that have to be disconnected and reconnected alone, however it’s an interesting concept and does give you a wide variety of machines in one unit.

Compact tracked machines from various manufacturers seem to be very popular in Central Europe especially and with a Mechbadger dealer being local to me, I am hoping to be able to take a closer look in due course.
