Snow Boarder v Loader Plough … The Chase is On!

This video has been doing the rounds on social media for well over a year now, and I figured it was about time we shared it on the Digger Man Blog.

The ‘short’ video clip was posted on the Red Bull Racing You Tube channel and features French Olympic gold medal winning snowboard cross racer Pierre Vaultier. The athlete has made something of a name for himself outside of snowboarding competitions by posting viral videos of himself performing stunts showcasing his skills and precision on the board.

In the 16 second clip, Pierre looks to outrun what appears to be a Caterpillar loading shovel equipped with snowplough attachment, as he rides out what they describe in snowboard jargon, as a rhythm section of a course.

Incredible footage especially when you consider they literally got one chance to shoot it before the whole course was wiped out!
