Experienced mobile plant fitter

Due to increased business levels and expansion we are looking for an experienced Full-Time Mobile Plant Fitter to be based out of our Ripley site.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hard-working individual who can start as soon as possible.  

Your day-to-day duties may include but are not limited to:

• Routine servicing and repairing plant machinery on site predominantly
• Regularly inspecting engines, gearboxes and hydraulics
• Identifying faults and repairing or replacing faulty parts
• Testing and reassembling of equipment as part of machinery servicing
• Using hand and power tools and specialist equipment as required

Skills Required:

• Mechanical maintenance experience
• Good communication skills for working with colleagues
• The ability to work alone without direct supervision
• To have held responsibility within a previous or current role
• Full UK Drivers License

This is a full-time position including 21 days holiday plus 8 statuary Bank Holidays. The rate of pay will be dependant on experience, overtime is always available. Collins operate an auto enrolment pension scheme for employees. The successful applicant will be required to undertake 6 month’s probationary period.
