Rototilt UK looks to impress

During my recent Northern adventure I also packed in a quick visit to the Rototilt UK facility and showroom in Kendal to check out some of the latest products from the leading manufacturer of tiltrotators, Indexator.

The latest manufacturer to join the ever expanding UK tiltrotator market is Indexator, the Swedish company who are highly regarded as the world leader in tiltrotator design and manufacture. It’s hardly surprising really as this company has been in business for 40 years, often leading the way with new ideas and concepts in tiltrotator design. Rototilt UK is headed by Tom Lomax and Tim Wood both of whom have a lot of experience in the world of tiltrotators. The company has formed a unique, comprehensive showroom which will enable existing and potential customers to come and take a look at the Indexator Rototilt range first hand. They eventually hope to have a dedicated tiltrotator demonstration plot at the facility so customers can try before they buy! As a long term tiltrotator fan myself, I was quite simply amazed at the high level of technology that comes with the Indexator systems. In addition to its SecureLock quick coupler safety system, Indexator have also developed its ICS (Indexator Control System) which features autocalibration, automatic troubleshooting via in-built sensors, a position sensor with display where the operator can set his work tool for a particular grade angle, smart functions, such as a pulse system, that with the press of a joystick button will vibrate material like chippings into a trench without the need for the operator to shake the joystick and an LED light within the attachment making changing tools in the dark even easier. Check out this video from Indexator which shows the ICS system features.
