Classic D8H pushes on in Finland

A nice flashback Friday video to end the week on with footage from Finland of the iconic Caterpillar D8H in action.

Apart from the D9 in its various guises, Caterpillars D8H is probably one of the most famous tracked type tractors of all time. It was interesting to see this example with an unusual looking cab, in good condition working in Sulkava in Southern Finland pushing out sand in a pit. There is something very satisfying about listening to the sound of a classic Cat in action and this machine is testament to the durability of the old Caterpillar machines.
