A Flavour of What’s to Come from Komatsu at Intermat

Here we are already in February which means a long-awaited return to Intermat in Paris is now looming rapidly on the horizon, so what can we expect to see from the Japanese machinery giant at the event?

In common with many other manufacturers, the focus once more will be on electric lithium-ion battery powered machines, in particular its largest models, including the Komatsu 21-tonne class 210LCE-11, a version of which we saw during our visit to Conexpo-Con/Agg in Las Vegas last year.

Komatsu’s ever popular reduced tail radius 13-tonne offering has also been given the electric treatment and will appear at Intermat as the PC138E-11. We can also expect a world premiere full cab version of the PC33E-6 mini excavator.

Fans of more conventional powered equipment visiting Komatsu’s stand in Hall 5B will be delighted to see examples of the recently launched PW168-11 and PW198W-11 wheeled excavators.

Bigger equipment will be present outside just adjacent to the main stand, and will include the 95-tonne class PC950-11, which was first revealed during Bauma in Munich in 2022. We can also expect to see the HD605-10 rigid dumptruck, while demolition fans and customers alike will be delighted to see the PC390HRD-11 with the K100 quick boom change system, that was also presented during Bauma.

A Digitalization Corner will also be set up in the hall the corner will showcase Komatsu Telematics solutions, emphasizing their role in simplifying decision-making for effective equipment deployment, improved fuel efficiency, enhanced productivity, and streamlined periodic maintenance planning.

Smart Construction will introduce unique working methods and solutions, also featuring the innovative 3D Machine Guidance system. Experts will also be on hand to offer advice on such things as finance, aftersales and genuine part supplies.
