A Welcome Return to JCB
So today, I will be making my latest pilgrimage back up to JCB’s World Headquarters in Staffordshire, as part of a selected group who will be attending a backhoe loader experience day.
I was kindly invited to attend this one by Georgina Williams aka @jcb_diggergirl on Instagram, who amongst many other roles at the company is also a JCB test site operator, and a new member of the dancing digger display team.
Today’s visit will include a tour of the awesome ‘The Story of JCB’ museum, which I have visited many times before, but still takes my breath away every time.

This will be followed by a tour of the backhoe loader factory which is always an interesting thing to do.

Then after lunch its time to head up to JCB’s quarry for a machine demonstration and that all important ‘hands on time’ with the latest backhoe loaders from this most famous manufacturer.

I will try to bring a flavour of the event on my various Digger Man Blog social media platforms during the day, but the phone signal is notoriously poor around that neck of the woods, so I cannot guarantee I will be successful.
It’s been a little while since I was in Rocester last, so I am really looking forward to returning once more!
Here's a bit of 'stick time' video from my last JCB backhoe loader visit to Staffordshire in 2021.
