ACE in the Indian BHL Pack

India is a massive market for backhoe loaders with the venerable and multi-functional machines accounting for in excess of 65% of construction equipment sales in the region.

With a factory in the territory dedicated to the Indian market, JCB is the strong leader in the country, however, while doing some research on the topic, I stumbled upon an Indian business who are manufacturing construction machinery called ACE (Action Construction Equipment) who were established in 1995, and initially started out as a mobile and fixed tower crane manufacturer, but their portfolio of products has expanded to include, crawler cranes, lorry loaders, vibratory rollers, tractors and backhoe loaders.

The company’s backhoe loader offering is the Phantom which is available in 2x4 or 4x4 variants, it’s a simple and basic looking machine, with no extending dipper, modest cab interior and features traditional X pattern sticks instead of servo controls, this is generally considered the standard specification for the Indian market.

I had not heard of this brand before so thought it might be of interest to readers/followers of this blog.
