Adam Gilbert Joins the Holp Revolution

Since announcing they were becoming importers of the Holp GmbH range of products MPS South West Ltd have been busy promoting the Rototop rotation system to local customers in Cornwall and Devon, with the latest to embrace the concept being owner operator Adam Gilbert.

Having sold the first Holp GmbH unit in the country to Porteous Groundworks, which you will be able to read about in the next edition of Earthmovers Magazine, interest in the cost-effective alternative to a full blown tiltrotator has been high, with a number of sales already in the bag.

Adam Gilbert is one of those thinking outside of the box type of guys, and according to MPS South West owner Jason McCullough, had long had an idea in his head for such a device. Adam said, “I have often thought, if only I could have turned the bucket, we could have saved 45 minutes and at least three men’s wages! With my engineering background hat on, a few years ago now, I even thought about grafting a 600mm bucket onto a rotating grab, so the idea was already planted in my head. But now Holp is available in the UK market, I’m sold on the concept and I’m confident it will improve on site efficiency massively”.

The unit has been installed on Adam’s recently purchased Doosan DX225LC-7 which was purchased from Kellands Plant Sales and featured in the March 2023 edition of Earthmovers.
