All Systems Go for Engcon Dig Day – South West

We are seeing a tentative, but very welcome return to live events, and one of those events takes place this week as Engcon’s Dig Day – South West, is held on 20th and 21st of August in Langport, Somerset.

As per previous Engcon events, there will be a significant line-up of machines working out on the demo plot including, a Kato HD27V4 with Engcon EC204, Volvo ECR145E with EC219, Doosan DX140 with EC219, Doosan DX27z with EC02, Yanmar SV18 with EC02, Kubota KX060-5 with EC206 and Hitachi ZX55U-6 with EC206.

We also understand that new Eurocomach dealers Robustrack, will also be attending with their 2.5 tonne zero tails swing model the 25ZT fitted with an Engcon EC02 tiltrotator, something I will be keen to try out on one of the days, if I can make it there.

As per usual there will also be a variety of dealers/manufacturers of digging systems, most notably Nasco Digtec showcasing the iDig system, and Moba Earthworks with their XSite system.

The nice thing about Engcon’s events is that they are family friendly with all welcome to attend, bring your kids and inspire them for a career in the plant and equipment sector. As we all know, the industry is crying out for young blood.

As an added bonus catering will be provided for visitors. Hopefully if all goes to plan, I hope to see some of you there, if not, enjoy the days!
