Amazing Transformation with ALLU
Those fine folks at Finnish manufacturer ALLU, certainly know a thing or two about attachments and especially screening buckets, and in the video below we see one of its Transformer models at work in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The task for the ALLU Transformer bucket on this job was to screen topsoil for the removal of invasive plants, in the glorious parkland surrounding Träskända Manor in Espoo. The Träskända Manor Park received protected status as a nature reserve in 1961, and is one of the most important historical parks in Finland.
The park is host to many historically important trees and shrubs, so contractors working in this environment have to do so with extreme care using the most suitable equipment available.

What I found really interesting about this job was that the contractor deployed the ALLU DL-2-17 Transformer bucket onto a Gradall XL 4200 excavator.
This machine enables the operator to boom out with the telescopic boom, while maintaining a low profile thanks to its geometry ensuring no damage to any hanging tree limbs, while allowing the Transformer to screen the topsoil safely and effectively.

The ALLU Transformer DL 2-17 is the largest model in the DL series and is suitable for mounting on machines ranging from 9 to 12-tonnes in operational weight.
