Another Chinese Takeaway

As we know there are literally hundreds if not thousands of Chinese construction machinery manufacturers of widely varying quality out there, and I am always amazed when I come across another brand I haven’t seen before.

Surfing the web for content for the blog over the weekend, I came across my latest Chinese discovery KYMRON construction equipment. I receive emails on a daily basis from Chinese manufacturers asking me if I would be interested in selling their machines, although selling equipment is not really for me, I do find it interesting that so many have a desire to break into the UK market.

KYMRON appear to have found an enthusiastic dealer in the USA, K&R Equipment who are based in Muskogee, Oklahoma, they appear to have been selling these machines well over 12 months now, although the business has actually been established for over a decade.

According to K&R Equipment’s website over half the assembly of these Chinese machines is done in America by KYMRON technicians, using well known components from the likes of Kubota, Perkins, Cummins and Yanmar, along with hydraulic valve blocks and pumps from the likes of Parker and Eaton.

Looking at the video the machines in all fairness do look pretty dated, and remind me of excavators we saw back in the mid 1990’s. It does have that cheap un-refined look inside the cab, and I certainly wouldn’t want to spend 9/10 hours a day sat on that PVC seat, but that’s just me.

However, for those working to a tight budget or for small builders and farmers, there is no doubt this no-frills hydraulic excavator would do the job.
