Big Cat Goes Pink for Demo Barbie!
We do love a custom pink paint job on construction machinery, here on the Digger Man Blog, and guess what, we have come across another one, this time in Florida, USA.
This latest pink excavator story reminded me of a post I created on my old Digger Blog platform back in 2011 where we featured New Orleans based demolition company Demo Diva, which was and remains to this day, the brainchild of American female entrepreneur Simone Bruni, who had a vision to run pink Volvo excavators and dumpsters.
I came across this latest Florida based company called Demo Dog Demolition, while scrolling on Instagram.
I noticed that they have a Caterpillar 335F L on the fleet that has a female operator called Carly Duncan. Carly first jumped onto the machines at the age of 19, and now is engaged in full residential demolition work, and commercial demolition jobs.

Carly has a significant following on social media with her online persona @demo.barbie.demolition amassing an 11.3k following on Instagram and a much larger audience on the youngster’s favourite platform TikTok where she currently as 89.6k followers.
Carly stated that the idea for a pink excavator started out as a joke between friends that eventually became a reality thanks to the management at Demo Dog who decided to make it happen.
Her 35-tonne compact radius Caterpillar machine undertook some repair work and structural modifications, before finally being repainted in a stunning hot lips pink livery, complete with a demo-barbie cartoon graphic, which is super cool!

If you live in the Florida area, this machine could be coming to a demolition site near you real soon, commenting on her demolition skills Carly says, "Pink is a uniform. Precision is the personality. The house comes down clean — every wall, every joist, exactly where I called it."
We love her confidence and the brand that she is creating, all whilst bringing a lot of coverage for this demolition business. If you don’t already pop over and give Carly a follow on her socials.
Checkout this video before the machine received its pink overhaul.
We thank Carly for the use of her images and video here on the Digger Man Blog.
