Building Takeuchi Track Loaders

It is probably fair to say that the largest market for compact tracked loaders would be in the US, the country has long had a love affair with the earlier wheeled skid steers, and most latterly with the tracked variants.

It’s understandable then that Japanese manufacturer Takeuchi chose to establish a manufacturing facility in Moore, South Carolina back in 2002.

This was a groundbreaking move, as it was the first time a manufacturing facility for these Takeuchi machines had been established outside of Japan, and their popularity is ever increasing, especially in that US market where let’s face it, they know a thing or two about CTL’s.

We took a good look around some of the Takeuchi CTL’s at Bauma, and they look to be an outstanding piece of kit, hopefully in the not-too-distant future, we will get an opportunity for a “hands-on” experience in the seat of one of them.
