Cat’s Global Operator Challenge is Back!

As far as operator challenge competitions go, nothing compares to the Cat Global Operator Challenge, it's quite simply, the Big Daddy!

Following the overwhelming success of the 2019-2020 event which culminated in the Global Finals being held during Conexpo in Las Vegas, I’m delighted to report that Caterpillar has once again launched the competition for the 2022 – 2023 season.

Operators who enter the competition will compete in regional heats in Europe, America and Asia, which will see 70 Cat dealers participating across 30 countries, its estimated that around 10,000 operators will compete for a chance to take part in the grand final in Nevada.

Using the very latest Caterpillar equipment the operators will pit their skills on a variety of challenges, to get them to the final, where the ultimate challenges become a lot harder including digging trenches to grade, loading dirt to precise amounts, and navigating equipment through and over a variety of obstacles.

Canadian Jaus Neigum was crowned the champion at the 2020 event which took place in the stunning Operator Challenge Arena, with the Ireland’s Thomas Murphy (Finning UK & Ireland) coming in second place, but who will take the coveted crown this time around, it promises to be another exciting global event with an estimated 8.4m live and virtual attendees catching a piece of the action!
