CE Rental OY in the Green at Maxpo

CE Rental was established in 1996 in Pirkkala, Finland, not far from Tampere and has over 30 years’ experience in the construction machinery rental sector.

CE Rental OY in the Green at Maxpo

During our previous visits to Finland, we had noticed the odd LiuGong machine being present on the fleet which was very interesting to see.

At the recent Maxpo trade fair which took place at Hyvinkaa Airport, we noticed a large presence of the distinctive green electric powered LiuGong machines on the stand with a number of them being available to test drive.

I think its fair to say that Finland has been something of a slow burner for Chinese manufactured machines, but this could be about to change with the official appointment of CE Rental OY as a LiuGong dealer taking place during our visit to Maxpo.

There appeared to be no shortage of visitors lining up to try one of the electric models on offer for stick time across the whole 3 days of the fair, as curious Finns took their opportunity to see what all the fuss was about.

CE Rental will prioritise LiuGong’s core battery-electric vehicle (BEV) models, including the 820TE and 848TE electric wheel loaders, as well as the 9027FE and 922FE electric excavators. These will be supported with the necessary charging infrastructure. In parallel, CE Rental will offer LiuGong’s diesel-powered range, providing customers with a comprehensive and robust lineup to meet a wide range of operational needs.

LiuGong’s BEV models have already proven themselves across Europe in real-world conditions, with over 10,500 electric machines in operation globally, and the highest-hour unit now exceeding 20,000 operating hours. These machines are delivering zero tailpipe emissions, lower operating costs, and quiet performance in challenging environments such as urban centres, tunnels, and environmentally sensitive sites.

LiuGong is a brand we personally trailblazed for many years when they first started arriving in the UK back in 2013, however it’s a brand that I do next to nothing with anymore in the UK, so it was nice to be able to take a look around them again with our good friends in Finland.
