Celebrating a Milestone Year with JCB
As we are entering a New Year we can still look back with pleasure at 2025, a year that was a big one for Staffordshire based manufacturer JCB.
Not only was it the 80th Birthday of the JCB company, but also the 80th Birthday of the companies Chairman Lord Bamford who was born in 1945, the same year that his father Joseph Cyril Bamford CBE set up the famous manufacturing company that was to bare his initials.
Other highlights included the production of the one millionth backhoe loader, a milestone that was celebrated in big style at the company’s World Headquarters in Rocester Staffordshire, with a parade of restored classic models from the manufacturers past portfolio, along with the latest innovations such as a hydrogen powered backhoe loader.
Talking of hydrogen, the company also hosted a visit from His Majesty the King, where he was invited to see the progress of this innovative power source for himself.
A number of other product launches took place last year, and now we brace ourselves for what is coming down the line for 2026, which is sure to be an equally exciting year ahead for JCB.
