Champion Hitachi’s out in the Field

Having recently put in an order for 20 Hitachi excavators from JAW Hire Ltd Liskeard based Champion Groundworks are now receiving the new machines on sites across the South West.

Hitachi has always been a highly regarded brand of excavator, from the days of the UH series way back in the 80’s, to the tie up with Fiat for the FH series and up to today with the latest Dash-7 models now rolling out, operators have appreciated the brands top quality hydraulics, performance and power.

Having been on hand at JAW Hire Limited’s yard to capture some of the shiny new machines on camera, I headed out to some of the sites where they would be heading the next day and actually managed to capture one of the first to be put into service on site in Chudleigh, Devon, where it was in action loading a nearly new Terex Finlay J-1160 primary mobile jaw crusher, owned by sister company Groundfix.
