Champion Take First X-Series JCB

Leading South West groundworks contractor Champion Groundworks Limited have recently taken delivery of their very first JCB X-Series hydraulic excavator.

Following a successful demonstration period arranged by local dealer Holt JCB the company have decided to invest in British with the delivery of a 22-tonne class 220XLC, this machine is expected to be the first of many as according to its very impressed operator Stuart Hill, the machine is a game changer for JCB.

We caught up with the new machine and its operator on a site close to the popular holiday destination of Newquay in Cornwall. We will be covering this in more detail in a future edition of Earthmovers Magazine but in the meantime enjoy this video of the machine in action.
