Checking in with Boss Plant Sales

Today I am making my way across to Hertfordshire for a long-awaited Earthmovers Magazine visit to Boss Plant Sales who are the official Kubota dealers for London and the surrounding areas.

This visit came about as a result of an interesting discussion at Plantworx 2025 with Alex Wager, who is the General Manager at Boss Plant Sales, which followed on from our social media chats on Instagram, during which I discovered that Alex was also a big ice hockey fan and that Boss Plant Sales also shirt sponsor the Milton Keynes Lightning NIHL League ice hockey team, which I had spotted on the team shirts when they have visited my adopted team the Bristol Pitbulls.

It transpires that both teams play each other this coming weekend both home and away, so I will take the opportunity to stay up in Milton Keynes and watch the match on Sunday with them.

But first, there will be no “hooking, tripping, roughing or fighting,” as I’m looking forward to finding out what makes Boss Plant Sales tick as a leading Kubota dealer, and other brands in the companies portfolio, in what must be a lucrative part of the country to be selling the ever-popular Japanese designed machines.
