Cleaning the cab to stay safe

Back in April we were way ahead of the game here on the Digger Man Blog by producing a blog post suggested by our friend Kenneth Hatcher entitled, Ken’s COVID-19 Cab Clean Tips, in which Ken sent in some photos of his cleaning regime and offered his advice on the best practice to protect yourself when returning to work.

Many others have now taken this a bit further and produced videos on the topic, one of the latest to do so is Leicester’s finest Jas Kundra, who has spent many years working for Caterpillar and more recently has been living and working for Finning in Canada.

Pictured above: All-round great guy Jas Kundra, in the cab of a Cat 374F during a press event in Malaga in 2014.

Anyone who has met Jas will know that he has an infectious and bubbly enthusiasm for the Caterpillar product and to be fair, life in general, he is the ultimate professional and is just a natural in front of the camera. Its always a pleasure to catch up with Jas, and although we don’t see much of him these days due to him working in Canada, I personally always recall the days I spent with him up at Caterpillar’s facility in Desford.

So, lets watch the video featuring Jas as he talks us through the best cleaning practice’s we all need to be adopting during these crazy Covid times.
