Colmer Plant invest in Yanmar

Colmer Plant in Essex has just invested in a range of Yanmar and Ammann machines. The order which was in excess of £¼ million consisted of Yanmar ViO25, ViO50 and ViO80 zero tail swing machines as well as the new range of ARX rollers and Rammax trench rollers from Ammann Equipment.

Covering the South East of England from their base in Brentwood Colmer Plant offer a wide range of equipment from drills, vibrating plates, trench rollers to their latest investment in the Yanmar ViO80-1, 8 ton zero tail swing excavator. “Whether it's a vibrating plate to an 8-ton mini digger, we are here to help”, says Michael Colmer, “If customers are unsure what equipment would do the job best, then we offer free advice. Our customers vary from large businesses, to local builders and landscapers.” Michael continues, “We like the Yanmar machines, the zero tail swing gives us less damage problems and allows our customers to work in more restricted places. We offer a full range of machines from 0.8 tons upwards as well as the various attachments to go with them”. Colmer Plant has recently bought additional trench rollers and tandem rollers from Ammann Equipment Ltd who supply vibrating plates, trench rammers, trench rollers ride-on tandem rollers and excavators, as well as providing spare parts and after sales support for the UK and Ireland.
