Construction Machinery Firms, Dig Deep to Support Ice Hockey
This is a bit of a different post today, slightly self-indulgent, for which I make no apologies for, but with potential benefits for everyone involved.
After many years in the online community, I don’t think its any secret now, that you realize, I’m a big fan of ice hockey. It was my chosen sport having played the game for Southampton Vikings, Bournemouth Stags, Basingstoke Beavers, and Gosport Seakings, from 1977 until retirement in 1995 when I relocated down to the South West.
For me there is quite simply nothing else like it, for starters it’s the fastest team sport in the world, its fast & furious, super skilful, physically demanding, exciting, and above all else a family friendly sport for spectators.
American earthmoving machinery giant Caterpillar have certainly embraced the sport and are currently sponsoring the biggest professional league in the world the NHL.

I currently follow my adopted team the Bristol Pitbulls, who play in the NIHL 1 in the UK, which the second-tier professional league in the UK, they have a fantastic fan base in Bristol, and the arena, which is affectionately known as “The Pound” is more often than not sold out on match nights during the season, which produces an amazing atmosphere!
Like any sport these days, they rely on sponsorship to help fund the game, and as they gear up for the 26-27 season, I am keen to attract more construction machinery businesses to get involved in the Bristol ice hockey community. With various sponsorship opportunities available such as player sponsorship, team sponsorship, and arena branding there is something to suit all budgets.

What you as a business get in return is increased brand awareness, digital & social media exposure including livestream broadcasts of matches, and a chance to support the local community.
I have noticed other plant and machinery companies already involved in our league with Kubota dealers Boss Plant Sales taking shirt sponsorship with another team in our league the Milton Keynes Lightning, who in addition also have the Smith Construction Group as on ice sponsors, and Fairfax Plant Hire taking arena branding up in Hull with the Hull Seahawks.

There are so many construction machinery firms around Bristol and the surrounding areas, that I would love to see supporting this fantastic organisation that brings so much pleasure to the local ice hockey community.
So, if you are interested in getting behind the Pitbulls, please contact Jenny Ball for more details on sponsorship packages, just tell her Nick sent you! : Email: info@bristolpitbulls.co.uk
I for one hope to see you on the ice!
