Did You Connect with Hitachi?

Last Thursday evening at 6pm, Hitachi Construction Machinery UK hosted its first ever online event, showcasing the latest products and technologies from this famous brand.

Due to the restrictions, we have all been living through over the past 16 months, and the absence of any major machinery exhibitions, many manufacturers have turned to online coverage to get their message across, with varying degrees of success.

The latest one being Hitachi Construction Machinery UK, who produced a stunning and action packed 30-minute informative video presentation supported by a live chat option, enabling viewers to ask questions during the show.

While the initial focus was on the manufacturers awesome looking new Dash-7 hydraulic excavator models, there was much more to see, including interviews with those most important of people, the operators who run the machines day in and day out, machinery product specialists, Connected Technology experts and some of the leading attachment specialists in the field.

As an aspect of interest, the video was interspersed with features on some of the most famous local North East landmarks, which I thought was a really nice touch.

We never see much of Hitachi CM UK at the regional plant shows in the UK, with the exception of Hillhead, I always recall a local salesman to me saying, “Our machines are so good, we don’t need to attend trade shows, they sell themselves”. There could well be some truth in that, but there is still no substitute for showing the machines off to a wider audience, and to be fair, there is no wider audience than on the global platform that is the internet!
