Digger action at operator open day & family plant show
The lads behind a popular Facebook page, called UK Plant Operators, are hosting a first of its kind, unique family plant show on Sunday 1st September, primarily aimed at guys like myself, who work at cutting face of the industry.
The event which is sponsored by Lynch Plant Hire, will take place at the Sedgemoor Auction Centre, just off junction 24 of the M5, close to Bridgwater in Somerset. The show will give operators a chance to test drive machines in the demonstration zones. There will also be operator challenge style competitions, main arena displays, a display of classic plant, training and employment advice, merchandise stalls and a kid’s fun zone.
With a number of famous machinery brand names set to appear, the one day show looks to have something for everyone. I will be popping up the M5 on the day to take a look for myself, and will report on the day here on the blog. For those who are relying on satellite navigation, the postcode for the venue is TA6 6DF
