Digger Man Looks at The Digger King
Over the long Christmas break I received a message from a Canadian heavy machinery enthusiast on Instagram called Dan Matthewson who asked me if I had heard of an Australian brand called Digger King, I had not noticed them so went for a search on the internet to find out more.
It transpires that Digger King are based in South Murwillumbah, New South Wales and although they describe themselves as a manufacturer, but it would appear that the Digger King machines are originally sourced from one of the many manufacturers in China, and badged up as Digger King in Australia.
The machines feature a host of blue-chip components including engines from Kubota, Yanmar and Cummins, and modern state of the art hydraulic systems as we would find in many of the major global competitors, and of course being Chinese, they are extremely competitive on price, which during tough economic times always appears to be an attractive option.

From some brief research on the internet, the Digger King machines are proving to be extremely popular in the massive agricultural sector in Australia, with farmers who have initially looked into buying a second hand machine from the more mainstream manufacturers, but then realising they can buy a brand new Digger King for near enough the same money as a second hand machine, which is a bit of a no brainer really, especially if you are not going to be trading it in anytime soon in the future.

Digger King sells excavators ranging from 1.0 tonne up to 23.0 tonnes, in addition to skid steer loaders, compact tracked loaders, and compact wheeled loaders, many of their machines bear a striking resemblance to many of the major brands.

The company does have a You Tube Channel, but unfortunately does not allow embedding of its videos, you can check out the channel here .. https://www.youtube.com/@diggerking
