Diggers Executive Hire Show Highlights (Part One: Sunward)

The Executive Hire Show is always a fantastic event to start the year with, and with a big year of shows ahead, it was a great way to break ourselves in gently, and do a bit of networking, for what promises to be a busy 2023 ahead.

No less than 140 exhibitors gathered in the spiritual home of the Executive Hire Show, the Coventry Building Society Arena, with more than 30 of those exhibitors making their EHS debuts. The exhibitors cover a wide range plant, equipment, hand tools and technologies, but as usual I was there to checkout the compact plant on display.

First up for me was a stop by the Sunward Europe stand, where I was delighted to be greeted by recently appointed Country Manager for Sunward Europe Rick Still, who was keen to tell me about the new set up, and new dealers who have joined up, with some other very well-known industry names involved who I am looking forward to working with going forward.

With a European hub based in Belgium, the manufacturer presented four machines from its extensive range of machines including the 2.5-tonne zero tail swing SWE25UF, the 6-tonne class SWE60UF zero tail model, the sub 1-tonne SWE08B in addition to one of its scissor lift offerings.
