“Duck” & Trailer Swedish style

Came across this video over the weekend and just thought wow what an impressive set up, but let’s be honest, they are all pretty impressive in Sweden aren’t they!

This all singing, all dancing Volvo EWR150E wheeled excavator complete with triple articulated boom, tiltrotator, GPS, super single tyres and Waldung-Karran tipping trailer makes light work of the task in hand displaying the flexibility and productivity of this one man and one machine combination.

This is a common sight on the streets of Sweden and other Nordic territories, but sadly it’s still not a legal set up here in the UK or at least it remains a somewhat grey area.

As it happens today 22^nd August 2017 Volvo CE will be revealing 3 new excavators in its line up and speculation is rife about new wheeled excavator sizes. The event will be live streamed on the Volvo Construction Equipment Facebook page today so don’t forget to check it out!
