Easy Like an E-Series

Last week saw the long-awaited and hugely anticipated official launch of CASE’s new E-Series range of excavators, so now with that event all out of the way, I’m delighted to be allowed to post some material on the new machines.

Easy Like an E-Series

I am going to be reporting in more detail on the CX210E in the next edition of Earthmovers Magazine, but I could not let this occasion pass without posting a brief blog post about it.

The new range comprises of 7 models from 13 to 30 tonnes: CX130E, CX160E, CX180E, CX210E, CX240E, CX250E and CX300E.

In what may be seen as a surprise move the new Japanese built machines feature the latest FPT Industrial (FPT) diesel engines which are Stage 5 emissions compliant, an all-new and improved cab, improved hydraulic settings, and what they describe as an optimised undercarriage.

Two of these new CX210E machines had already been delivered to a well-known customer in the South West way in advance of launch day, and obviously rumours were rife about them in my neck of the woods, as such it didn’t take much investigating to find out more.

The operator who is a long-term CASE user was over the moon with his new mount, but for now, just enjoy the video of the first one to go out to site in action below!
