Electric Dreams with LGMG
At last weeks Executive Hire Show, we had the pleasure to catch up with a new Chinese entrant into the UK market, LGMG UK.
While they maybe relatively new to the UK market, the LGMG group has been established since 1972. The company is largely focused on producing powered access equipment, including electric, hybrid and diesel-powered scissor lifts, booms and telehandlers, in addition at the EHS show, they showcased a new range of low-level access lifts.
However, the machine that caught my eye on the stand was the electric powered H625E compact telehandler. The H625E is LGMG’s first electric telehandler and has a lift capacity of 2500kg and a maximum lifting height of 5.94 metres.

Power comes from an 80V Lithium-Ion battery which is interchangeable and is fitted with a PMSM lifting motor for smooth and precise control of the hydraulic functions.
Three steering modes can be selected to suit the jobsite conditions, including front wheel steer, all wheel steer and crab mode.
Having conducted some test driving in equivalent sized models from well known French, and Austrian built machines in the past, I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the finish in and around this machine, how it operates remains to be seen, but I am hoping to arrange a test drive for Earthmovers Magazine in due course.
In the meantime, lets checkout this promotional video from LGMG.
