Engcon and Jazz Music in Perfect Harmony

Our good Finnish friend Juhani Viitanen has been producing videos for Engcon for many years, and I came across this one over the weekend which I thought would be good to share here on the Digger Man Blog.

Engcon and Jazz Music in Perfect Harmony

If you have ever watched Engcon videos in the past, there will be a good chance that it was filmed and edited by Juhani. I often catch up with him during my trips to Finland, and witness him going about his business quietly in true Finnish style.

He produces some great material, but he’s a very humble man about his work and not one for ‘giving it large’ on social media so I wanted pay credit to his work here.

This video is actually from 2022 and was taken during construction the E75 road in Finland which corresponds largely to Highway 4 (Valtatie 4), the country's longest highway spanning 1,295 km from Helsinki to Utsjoki in the north. It features machines from Caterpillar, supplied by Aveso Cat OyYanmar, suppied by KH Koneet, Doosan, now Develon supplied by Real Machinery and Kobelco, also supplied in Finland by KH Koneet.

I especially like the way Juhani has set the tone on this video with the Engcon’s operating with a jazz- based theme track, this I know will definitely appeal to our UK based friend Doug Potter, the former Hyundai demonstrator who is a big jazz fan. I’m sure many of us can remember Doug doing his thing on the machines at the old SED Show, with jazz music blaring out from the cab back in the day.

But of course, the overwhelming message of the video, is the flexibility and versatility that running a tiltrotator offers the end user, something that we see demonstrated in Juhani’s video, enjoy the action!
