Enter the H Series

LiuGong chose the recent Bauma China Trade Fair in Shanghai, to officially unveil its new H Series 856 wheeled loader which was penned by a UK based design team.

The new LiuGong 856H is said to be the start of a new and exciting era for the rapidly expanding Chinese company. The designers remit was to come up with a new design that will meet all the requirements of the company’s customers bringing a new level of productivity and serviceability to the market. An all new cab design offers improved visibility to the bucket or work tool and better all-round visibility which will offer greater safety benefits. Frequently used controls have been ergonomically placed within easy reach of the operator and curved glass in the cab decreases sound levels for the operator. Thanks to the placement of steps and handrails the operator can now gain 360 degree access all around the cab exterior making it easy and more importantly safer to remove snow and frost during the winter months and for cleaning windows in the summer. The newly designed powered forward tilting hood allows for ground level access to service points increasing speed of and easier access to components, which reduces daily and scheduled service times increasing the machines availability to work. Mild geometry changes have improved the existing “tried and tested” Z-bar loader and a new more efficient bucket shape has been adapted to increase the productivity of the machine. The 856H has a dump clearance of 3,100 mm at full height, 3 m3 bucket with welded-on teeth, an operating weight of 17,100 kg and 173 kN breakout force. The new LiuGong 856H is expected to make its European debut at Intermat in Paris next April, with UK dealers expected to have the new model for sale shortly afterwards, at which time the Digger Man Blog and Earthmovers Magazine will be getting hands on with the new Tier 4 Cummins powered machine.
