Feeling Festive at Finning

Its that time of year again, when companies are getting in the Christmas spirit, which means its always a great opportunity to drape the festive lights over a piece of equipment.

We have covered many of these over the years on the Digger Man Blog and it simply just wouldn’t be Christmas without featuring another example. Having featured Caterpillar dealer Finning UK & Ireland’s headquarters in Cannock previously, this year our attention turns to Finning’s regional depot in Llantrisant, Wales, courtesy of reader Kenneth Hatcher, who has sent in a couple of grainy mobile phone shots of the display.

Their machine of choice to sport the decorative lights this year is a Caterpillar 308E CR which looks resplendent lit up at nights as people drive by, a great festive touch and great advertising too! On the night Kenneth took these photos people passing by must have wondered what on earth was going on as he was apparently out in the middle of the roundabout, running about taking the shots!
