Finning back the boys in Brazil

Yes it’s that time again, when the whole country goes football crazy and true to form the team at Finning have once again put on a display at the entrance to the UK headquarters in Cannock.

Regular readers of my blog might recall that our friends at Finning UK set up a similar display at the entrance to the Cannock facility during the last World Cup event in 2010. Well, ahead of Saturday’s opening England match against Italy, the eye catching big flag has returned mounted in the skip of a Caterpillar 777G rigid dumptruck, but for the 2014 competition the dumptruck has been joined by another teammate in the form of a Caterpillar 329E series excavator which features a Finning coal shovel modification, complete with cardboard football boot and ball!

The boys from Finning UK who set up the display certainly look up for the match and will no doubt be cheering on Roy and the lads when they open their campaign in the Amazonian city of Manaus, late on Saturday night. Come on England!
