Getting Attached to Ramtec at Maxpo

During our recent visit to the Maxpo Show in Hyvinkää we stopped by the stand of Finnish manufacturer Ramtec who were keen to show us the new Robi DG11 demolition and sorting grapple.

This unit fits into the Ramtec Robi range between models 8 and 15, and is suitable for use on machines in the 6 to 14 tonne weight class. The weight is 330–440 kgs, depending on the equipment.

As in other models in the range, the new model also has synchronizing bars that move crosswise to improve work accuracy. The body has been heavily reinforced.

The list of accessories is extensive. Closed side plates are available, so the grapple can be used as a grab to handle loose materials such as earth, sand and aggregate. The serrated side plates help to grip, for example, when handling wood.

Rubber grippers can be attached for when moving sensitive materials such as tombstones and other fragile items. The grapple is available with or without rotation.

A sea of red attachments were on display on the stand at Maxpo showcasing the variety of products on offer from Ramtec.
