Getting to Know the New JCB 520X

We covered the new JCB 520X hydraulic excavator following its launch into the Indian market previously on this blog, well now, JCB are teasing us a little bit more with a new product video.

We understand that this year is going to be a very exciting time for new product launches from the famous Staffordshire based manufacturer, and we look forward to finding out more in due course, but for now, all the talk is about their largest excavator model to date.

In the 20-minute video below we are given an extensive walkaround of the new 50-tonne class 520X by JCB Product Specialist, Oliver Sands, who points out some the important features that we can expect to see on this large excavator.

Building on the continuing success of the X-Series range it will be interesting to see how this model compares to previously released X-Series models. At the moment this machine is only aimed at the Asian and Middle Eastern markets, but one would have to imagine that in time it will be rolled out into other markets globally.
