High Spec Finnish Yanmar Duck

Our friends at Finnish publication Konepörssi recently visited Markku Järvinen Oy's new all singing, all dancing, Yanmar B110W wheeled excavator in Helsinki.

High Spec Finnish Yanmar Duck

This machine has replaced a Terex TW110 excavator which had amassed over 4,500 hours on the meter. The German built 12.5 tonne class Yanmar B110W "rubber duck" has been specified with a variety of options, the like of which we always expect to see from those who live in the Nordic regions. It features a TAB (Two Piece Boom) arrangement, Engcon tiltrotator, Trimble 3D GPS system, Auto Lube system and additional LED lighting package to name a few.

Apparently, the outgoing machine had over 20 attachments in the arsenal for use with the machine, but these were designed to fit an old Bofors 18 quick coupler which was fitted on the old excavator. This has meant some extensive alterations were required to them so they will fit the Engcon S50 set up. The machine also features many functions built in to the joystick control buttons, not only tilt and rotation but joystick steering selection, auxiliary hydraulic control, and even Trimble excavation levels can be adjusted via the buttons, meaning your hands never have to leave the levers!
