Hosplant supplies Wacker Neuson ET90 with Xwatch safety system to Energi Cable Services

A new Wacker Neuson ET90 excavator fitted with the Xwatch XW4 safety system has been supplied to Energi Cable Services Ltd , with installation completed by Xwatch Safety Solutions part of Hexagon engineer Tom Dacosta.

The machine was supplied through HOSPLANT SALES LIMITED, an authorised dealer for Wacker Neuson. Hosplant confirmed its partnership with the manufacturer earlier in 2026 and now supplies a wide range of Wacker Neuson equipment, including dumpers, excavators and electric machinery, alongside parts and service support.

The ever-popular ET90 is a 9-tonne midi excavator suited to infrastructure and utility work where reliability, reach and operator control are essential.

To support safe on-site operation, the excavator has been fitted with the Xwatch XW4 safety system. The system monitors the machine’s height and slew movement and can accurately restrict operating parameters using feather-touch proportional hydraulic control. By managing the machine’s height and left- and right-hand slew limits, the system helps protect the operator, the machine and the surrounding environment when working near sensitive infrastructure.

The machine is also fitted with roof-mounted safety beacons and additional Safety Shield Global technology, providing further visual awareness on site. The ET90 is equipped with a Strickland hydraulic quick coupler, allowing operators to change attachments quickly and safely while working on site.
